A 13-year-old boy from Bethany, Missouri, was killed Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash a mile west of Stanberry, Missouri.

Dustin W. Beaty, 46, of Bethany, was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 136 when he drove off the road and hit an embankment, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The Jeep hit a field entrance and went airborne, flipping multiple times before landing on its wheels by the roadside, according to the crash report.
